    Tippecanoe Battlefield

    Marking the spot where Native American and early settlers fought over the fertile lands in central Indiana, the Tippecanoe Battlefield contains a museum filled with information on the battle and artifacts from European and Native American cultures. Also on the grounds are hiking trails, a nature center, picnic areas and a gift shop.

    Historic Prophetstown

    Situated on the Wabash River, Historic Prophetstown details local history through its natural and reconstructed areas. Learn about the Native American people at the replicated Woodland Village, which boasts wigwams, a medicine lodge, a cooking shelter and other structures. Farm life during the 1920s is shown at the Wabash Living History Farm through an assortment of machines, buildings and animals. This historic site is found in the Prophetstown State Park, between Lafayette and Battle Ground.
